PRE-FLIGHT AND ACTUAL FLIGHTWe normally meet our clients at the Brimfield Plaza, Kent, Ohio, parking lot and return there after your flight experience.Inflation of the balloon and lift-off will take place at a site determined just prior to flight time. The actual location is one that will provide some exciting photographic opportunities and safe landing sites. America's Uknown Destinations uses many take-off locations depending on wind direction and speed. Your pilot will skillfully select the most desired location. The cold inflation of the hot air balloon requires approximately 20 minutes Passengers are given the opportunity to board once the balloon is standing in the upright position and nearly ready for lift-off. The actual flight itself will last approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour, depending on weather conditions and the area we are flying over. We generally fly over rural farms and an occasional small town or a newly developed area. Altitudes for a normal flight are generally below 1,000 feet. The average flying height will be approximately 300 feet or lower, sometimes even at treetop level.
